Jebel al Lawz - Mount Horeb Top of Horeb (Lawz): An 8200' granite pinnacle, shaped like an extruded starfish from the top, this imposing and majestic mountain stands out as the tallest peak in northwest Arabia. This is the most likely candidate for the Mt. Horeb of the Bible.

Jabal al-Lawz. In early October Phil Roberts and I went to Tabuk for the weekend to look at Jabal al-Lawz.
